1. Acceptance & eligibility
Microforge is an independent microSaaS operation run by Roberto Oliveira, based in Brazil. By creating an account, purchasing, or using any service you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and that you are at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you don't agree, don't use the services.
2. Accounts
- The free calculators run without an account. An account (email sign-in) is required only for paid features.
- Keep your credentials confidential and accurate. One account per person; no sharing or reselling access.
- You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. The products & their nature
Microforge builds technical calculators — e.g. Lambda (fuel-blend / AFR / injector sizing) and Kappa (Manual J residential heat-load).
⚠ These are planning & estimating tools — not professional advice or certified documents. Lambda outputs are for off-road / race use; the tuning decision is yours. Kappa output is not a stamped engineering document and is not, by itself, ACCA-approved software output; some jurisdictions require approved software and/or a licensed professional's sign-off — always confirm with your local authority. The final decision and responsibility are always the user's.
4. Plans, billing & Paddle
- A free tier is available. Paid plans (e.g. Pro) unlock additional features; prices and terms are shown at checkout.
- Payments are handled by Paddle.com as the Merchant of Record (seller of record). Paddle processes the payment, collects and remits applicable taxes, and its buyer terms govern the purchase. We never receive or store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew per the cadence shown at checkout until cancelled; a lifetime option, where offered, is a one-time charge.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled through Paddle under its refund policy. We honor a good-faith refund request within 14 days of purchase if the product didn't work as described — email roberto@microforge.app with your order ID. Because the free tier lets you evaluate the tool before paying, refunds outside this window are at our discretion.
6. Acceptable use
- No reselling, sublicensing, or sharing access; no reverse engineering or scraping.
- No unlawful use, no attempts to break security, no deliberate system abuse or overload.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Microforge's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, equipment damage, or losses from use of the information provided.
8. Intellectual property
Code, design, brands (Microforge, Lambda, Kappa) and curated content are ours. Your content (saved calculations, settings) stays yours — you can export it. You grant us a limited license to process it only to run the service.
9. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes get reasonable notice. Continued use means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil (where the operator is based); your purchase is additionally governed by Paddle's terms as Merchant of Record. Nothing here waives mandatory consumer rights you have under your local law.
